Park Updates from Assistant Bureau Chief Benjamin Faure

Below are the following park operational modifications as of March 16, 2020:

  • ALL events through May 15th, 2020 will be cancelled and no additional reservations will be accepted for group activities through this period. This will include Weddings, Birthdays,  Reunions, Pavilion Rentals, Dinners, and gatherings of any groups, no matter the size.  This applies to park events, CSO events, concession based events, etc.  The goal here is to reduce group contact and close contact between individuals as much as possible.  Any scheduled events beyond Friday will be cancelled by the park or event coordinator and fully refunded.
  • In addition to the Day use modification previously emailed, we will not be allowing after hours use activities until May 15th including after hours events and after hours pass activities.
  • All Camping, Cabin, Lodge, Group Camp Reservations are being cancelled through May 15, 2020.  Existing Campers occupying a campsite, cabin, etc. can remain in the park until Check out time on Friday, March 20, 2020.  After this, no visitors will be permitted to remain overnight.  Visitors arriving within the next 48 hours for a reservation will be allowed to check-in and then will need to depart by Friday as stated above. Reserve America will coordinate all camping cancellations for those facilities under their contract.  all others should be cancelled through the reservation method originally utilized.
