Wakulla Springs State Park will host a ranger-led river boat journey on the Wakulla River as the sun begins its descent over the treetops. The historic sunset river cruise diverges from the conventional tour as it focuses on taking visitors back in time to reveal the history of the Wakulla River from the ingenuity of Paleo-Indians to some of the glorious moments of the Lodge at Wakulla Springs. The river’s serene settings and accommodating wildlife garnish the event. Guests should come prepared for the early evening chill and may also wish to plan ahead for a romantic dinner in the Lodge Restaurant.
