A Message from Park Manager Amy Conyers
We want to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit to the park. With the uncertainty surrounding the spread of Covid-19, we are being cautious and following guidance from the CDC, the Health Department, and DEP Leadership. We are encouraging visitors to enjoy the outdoors and minimize contact with others. In order to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff, we are modifying many of our practices. We are cleaning public spaces at an increased frequency and providing hand sanitizer where running water is not available. At this time, we will not be offering boat tours or any other ranger-led programs or events. The Wakulla Lodge will still offer overnight accommodations and food service with a modified menu. They will not provide table-service dining, but visitors can place orders at the dining room and take their food to well-spaced tables inside or outside of the Lodge. The Ice Cream Parlor and Gift Shop will not be opened, but service will still be available from the exterior doorway. Visitors can enjoy many aspects of the park as usual, such as the swim area, the picnic area, and nature trails. Take a break from the chaos and safely recreate outside.
